It may seem early, but start planning to ride with SSDC in 2007 now!
By starting to pay now, you can spread the payments out and even save money on your dues. In addition, filling our float early allows us priority in float selection and placement in the parade. While these figures may change slightly, here they are as we currently know them:
Member dues (includes place on float and two balls): $400
Minimum order (basic Tucks throws): $300
New Member (for those of you who have not ridden in KoT before): $50
Total: *$750* (or $700 if you're a returning rider)
That's your total if paid by July. The dues go up $50 after July, then another $50 after October, so it is in your best interest to start paying now. In addition, the people who start paying earliest will also have priorty on placement on the float itself. Once you pay an initial deposit, we will provide you with a password and you can sign onto the KoT website whenever you like to check the status of your account. Please let us know if and when you send in your paperwork.
We certainly hope you all are interested in riding- it is truly a blast and worth every penny. When thinking about the financials, keep in mind that KoT is the ONLY parade that offers two all inclusive parties and just basic dues for some of the other parades can run as high as $2500.
